It took me a long time to realise that a food that passes its best before date is still safe to eat; however, most people throw it away without thinking. Food and fashion are not that much different. The waste in fashion is as much as the waste in food. “Trend” is the “best before date” to a piece of cloth. Consumerism has made the decision for us. Goods are made to be wasted.
